Graduates will have the capacity to advance diabetes education and guide clinical practice. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesA relevant bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognised instituition. An alternative mode of entry is available for health professionals without a degree, but with substantiative work experience. Recognition of Prior LearningApplications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Duration and AvailabilityThis fee paying course is one year part-time external study. Course OrganisationStudents are required to participate in clinical practice (2 x 10 days). Professional RecognitionThis course has Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) accreditation, 2003 - 2007. Graduates may be able to use this course as evidence to support an application for credentialling with ADEA.
