While the course is designed as generic in its framework, it draws on special areas of expertise and it explores content from a comparative and global perspective. This allows the development or advancement of knowledge, practice and research skills in an area of specialisation. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesGraduate Diploma in Social Policy or an equivalent qualification. Graduates with other qualifications are considered. A minimum of two years work experience is desirable. Recognition of Prior LearningApplicants who are eligible for immediate entry to the Masters program who have not completed the Graduate Diploma in Social Policy may be considered for up to one third, recognition of prior learning if they can demonstrate equivalent work undertaken. Duration and AvailabilityThis fee-paying course is of three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Intermediate Awards IA student who has successfully completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award, may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of the Head of School/Department.
