Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesA currently registered nurse who has registration or is eligible for registration with the Nurses Board of Western Australia, holds a bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent or a degree in a related discipline. Applicants with a degree from an appropriate discipline where areas of essential nursing knowledge and skills are deficient, are required to undertake selected units prior to commencing the course. Evidence of successful completion of appropriate research units is also a course prerequisite. As most units are offered only once in each year and in the required sequence of study, there is some limitation of choice for part-time study.
