Applications for recognition of prior learning are encouraged from applicants and are assessed on an individual basis. Applications for recognition of prior learning may be awarded for approved TAFE units. Students who have completed the Associate Degreei n Agribusiness may apply for recognition of prior learning in the Bachelor of Agribusiness, Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) double degree.
Duration and Availability
This course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Course Organisation
Journalism and agribusiness marketing are studied concurrently, with units from both fields being studied in every semester.
Professional Recognition
Graduates may be eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science (AIAIS).
Career Opportunities
Employment may be found as journalists in print, radio or other media in areas that deal in agribusiness.
