The aim of this major is to provide students with both an analytical framework and a number of practical applications for understanding interactions between parties with conflicting interest who must work together. Such interactions are becoming an increasing focus in the business environment. Students pursuing a course of study in strategic economic analysis are well placed to contribute constructively in business or government. Graduates are eligible for Associate Professional Membership of the Economic Society of Australia (Western Australian Branch).
