Introduction
This course is designed to meet the needs of students who wish to develop expertise in selected areas of financial management and applied economics. Students choose a mix between the two areas which best suit their professional needs. It is advisable that students contemplating taking this course have some basic mathematical skills.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor degree in finance, economics or related field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or equivalent qualification or completion of either a Graduate Diploma in Finance or a Graduate Diploma in Banking with a high level of academic performance. Students must have appropriate academic preparation in the intended field of specialisation.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.
