Introduction
This course provides a professional award for graduates in medical science or related areas interested in infectious diseases. It develops an understanding of the latest techniques involved in the detection, and spread and control of infectious diseases as well as undertaking an extensive review of the literature and carrying out a supervised research project.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
An approved undergraduate degree in medical science or a related area and at least two years work experience.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Subject to availability of units, it is possible to complete this course within a calendar year.
