Syllabus: Geography of tourism and recreation. Contemporary issues in tourism and recreation, the impact of tourism on people and places, promotion of tourism for economic, environmental or political purposes, place and image making. Case studies taken from Southeast Asia, the South Pacific and Australia are analysed.
