Syllabus:

Value-based introduction to Aboriginal cultural issues with respect to health, primarily. Introduction to economics. Aboriginal health economics. Aboriginal health, Aboriginal health policy and Aboriginal health economics in a historical perspective. Assesses impact of colonisation and post colonisation on Aboriginal health. Value base of the standard conventional individualistic economics vis-a-vis the more communitarianism of Aboriginal culture. Impact of institutional racism on health and health care.Concept of the Aboriginal Terms of Reference.
