Syllabus:	Analysis of exploration and mining systems using mathematical programming, simulation techniques and network models. Applications to pit optimisation, mine development, production scheduling, work planning, equipment replacement and maintenance and ventilation design. Spreadsheet modelling applications. Case studies and literature study assignments.
