Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesA degree from a recognised institution in field other than logistics or strategic procurement with a course average of no less than 60 per cent, or equivalent and at least two years relevant industry experience, or a Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Strategic Procurement with a course average of no less than 70 per cent. In addition to the above requirements, if the degree was not completed in English, applicants must meet Curtin University English competency. Recognition of Prior LearningApplications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Duration and AvailabilityThis fee-paying course is three semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Intermediate AwardsA student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or the Graduate Diploma in Logistics and Strategic Procurement may, in exceptional circumstances, apply for graduation in that award subject to the approval of the Head of School. Students will develop a deeper understanding of enterprise logistics and strategic procurement including global distribution and transportation, materials management, strategic procurement, purchasing and procurement and managing information systems projects and risks, research methods, and global business and the role of information technology in facilitating logistics and strategic procurement.
