IntroductionThis course is an ideal starting point for those wishing to enhance their skills and upgrade their formal qualifications. Successful completion allows a progression to the Master of Future Studies. Recognition of Prior LearningApplications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Exemptions should be discussed with the academic coordinator and applications made when enrolling. Duration and AvailabilityThe minimum course duration is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Intermediate AwardsA student who has successfully completed all the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Futures Studies may apply under exceptional circumstance provisions for graduation in that award, subject to approval of the Head of School/Department. Course OrganisationThe course consists of eight units, six of them delivered in an intensive, block format at two full days per week for three weeks. The electives (dependent on choice) may be undertaken in a different format and are selected after discussion with the academic coordinator.
