Introduction
Illustration is both a traditional and contemporary visual communication medium. This major focuses on the exploration and development of ideas through the use of skills and processes from within a wide range of traditional and emerging technologies. It promotes skills required for professional illustration practice and provides a theoretical framework for understanding national and international trends within the design industry. Illustrators as qualified professionals find individual creative solutions to visual communication problems.
