Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesAn approved bachelor degree or equivalent, a relevant teaching qualification, and appropriate teaching experience. Recognition of Prior LearningApplications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Under certain circumstances, students who have successfully completed the Graduate Certificate TESOL will be eligible for up to 100 credit points recognition of prior learning. Duration and AvailabilityThis fee paying course is of one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. Course OrganisationStudents study an applied linguistics unit in each semester together with a TESOL methodology unit. Additionally there are units for individual study which can take the form of approved electives. Possible electives include units in Asian languages - Korean, Thai, Indonesian and Japanese.
