It covers - genetic engineering, recombinant DNA technology, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, applications of DNA technologies in diagnostic medicine and forensic science. Tissue engineering, human and animal cloning. Social and ethical issues confronting modern biotechnology. Our graduates look forward to an exciting career in a wide range of biotechnology, biomedical, agricultural and industrial based areas in, hospital, medical research institutes, government laboratories and in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
