Successful completion will guarantee matriculation into Curtin but not into any particular course. Course Entry Requirements/PrerequisitesDesigned for mature aged students who are at least 20 years of age. Applicants must have satisfactorily completed Year 10, or the Certificate II in General Education for Adults, or equivalent if they wish to study in the face-to-face mode. This course isnot suitable for school leavers. Specific RequirementsFlexible delivery is also available for some units, but applicants must have completed a minimum of Year 12 to be eligible for this mode of study. An entrance test may be administered. At application, students are required to consult with the coordinatorto determine eligibility and a career pathway. NoteThose between the ages of 18 and 20 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Mature age students will be given preference. Upon successful completion of the course, those who wish to continue on to degree level studies must apply directly to the relevant School or Area.
