Prospective students without these prerequisites may be accepted after a program of guided reading has been undertaken together with other requirements stipulated by the Head of School. Recognition of Prior LearningApplications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis. Duration and AvailabilityThis fee paying course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. It is, however, expected that students will complete the course over a three to four year period. Units may be made available in afternoons and evenings to facilitate part-time study. Not all core and optional units are available each year. Course OrganisationA range of optional units is available allowing unit selection relevant to individual community pharmacy practice. Professional RecognitionThe course provides enhanced practice skills and business skills for the practice of community pharmacy. It does not qualify a person for registration as a pharmacist.
