This higher degree develops advanced knowledge in the discipline.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A relevant degree with a semester weighted average (SWA) of 70 per cent or better or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with a SWA of less than 70 per cent will be required to undertake appropriate bridging units. Selection is based on academic performance, the potential to undertake research, professional references and an interview.

Applicants for this course should refer to the Communicable Diseases and Criminal Record Screening/Clearance Section of this publication.

Duration and Availability

This fee paying course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study. Applicants with a postgraduate diploma, relevant honours degree, or equivalent qualifications and experience may be eligible for direct entry to the second year of the program.
