Introduction
The course provides graduates from disciplines other than metallurgy with a knowledge and understanding of mineral processing and extractive metallurgy. The course is also available to persons who have been employed for a number of years in the mineral industry as metallurgists who wish to update their original qualifications.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor degree in an engineering or science discipline. Applicants may also be considered on the basis of other qualifications and relevant experience.
Duration and Availability
This fee-paying course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. The course is also available on an external study basis.
