A bachelors degree, or equivalent qualification, from a recognised institution. The selection of a teaching specialisation is based on the content studied in the bachelor degree.

Specific Requirements

Applications for advanced standing are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

The course is of one year full-time study, and part-time study is possible on a limited basis.

The units are scheduled over two semesters in sequence. A total of ten weeks field experience is undertaken and consists of supervised teaching segments and teaching assignments. There is also additional experience in schools in connection with academic units.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials.
