| Focuses on two introductory modules concerned with the design of small scale framed buildings. Construction and Materials - properties and application of framing components and cladding materials, related 'skin and frame' construction systems. Related structure theory. The undertaking of project-based design exercises, liaise with structural engineers and access related building construction sites. |
