| Provides a theoretical framework and develops appropriate research and writing skills to enable students to locate their practice as artists within the larger context of cultural theory. It explores the theoretical issues that inform contemporary art, writing and criticism. The development of skills in creating written texts suitable for publication is encouraged. |
