Knowledge and development of skills associated with human resource management functions, and an understanding of how human resource management may provide the infrastructure necessary to bring an organisation's business operations in line with its strategic planning. It encompasses such topics as the implications of technology for design of jobs, recruitment and selection and the implications for the risk management in a changing workplace. The opportunity to consider the recruitment and selection process from both applicant's and employers' point of view, identifying the skills necessary to select effectively and apply for job successfully. |
