Breakage of solids by crushing and grinding. Agglomeration of powders. Particle size analysis, sizing and hydraulic classification of particles. Gravity and dense media separation, magnetic separation, electrostatic separation, froth flotation and ore sorting. Processes for handling concentrates and tailings, and environmental considerations. |
