Develops and extends the research and cross cultural communication skills studied in Cultural Literacy 500 and includes - research skills, critical thinking, writing and editing, study of academic journal writing, analysis of various disciplines' texts, social discourse - particularly oral discourse in Australia and cross-cultural studies. Complements and integrates study undertaken in other disciplines. Preparation of a research proposal, development of a literature review or writing a chapter of a thesis or project.
