Work place and indigenous ways of... issues and implications. Indigenous and non-indigenous value systems - influencing ways of working in community development and management, structure, power relations, competing values and assumptions between the two. Indigenous terms of reference, community development and management explored from view points of stakeholders, values, needs, priorities and aspirations. Establishing and negotiating terms of reference, reconciling tensions, considering role implications, use of empowerment strategies and negotiating skills. |
