Laboratory and clinical practice in dental therapy procedures. Patient assessment, treatment planning, prevention and treatment methods for caries and periodontal disease. Record keeping, appointment scheduling. Restorative dentistry - classical and modified cavity preparations, insertion. Local analgesia. Dental radiography - intraoral and lateral oblique radiographs. Exodontia. *This unit had additional practical/clinical hours conducted outside of normal semester hours. |
