Supervised practicum that meets the requirements of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. Integration of occupational therapy theoretical frameworks, with the development of clinical and ethical reasoning, and practical knowledge and skills inplanning, assessments, interventions, communications, documentation and management functions. Impact of learning styles and health beliefs on consumers. This unit is offered as 6 blocks of 40 hours per quarter or alternatively students may study 12 blocks of 20 hours per quarter. |
