Through field trips, lectures and seminars students investigate the issues surrounding the presentation, representation and manipulation of indigenous art and in practical and written exercises, critique the success or failure of these examples. As well as a journal of ideas and responses, students work in groups to develop a small exhibition of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander art for students within the Centre for Aboriginal Studies and the School of Art. |
