Further development of basic physiotherapy competencies in the management of selected cardiopulmonary problems. Problems covered typically include - dyspnoea, decreased exercise tolerance, respiratory muscle weakness and fatigue, airflow limitation, impaired gas exchange and impaired airway clearance. Aspects of cardiopulmonary problems covered include - pathophysiology, assessment and management. |
