Animal cloning, cell culture and tissue engineering. Monoclonal antibody technolgy. Ethical and social implications of modern biotechnology. Introduction to Cytogenetics - the study of Chomosome structure and variation. Chromosome mutations and aberrations, changes inchromosome number, cytogenetic syndromes and diseases.
