Explores management systems in different countries, as well as introducing a variety of functional and strategic contexts. The rise of many countries in Asia from developing country to global powerhouse status, and economic integration in Europe, have made it an imperative to explore alternative management approaches to standard United States theories. Further, the unprecedented transformation of socialistic societies through the adoption of market culture has presented the students with challenging learning opportunities. Examines management systems amongst the Anglo, Latin, Arabic and European cultural and ethnic groupings, and in nations such as China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and India. |
