Clinical versus statistical significance, prediction of outcomes. Diagnosis and testingclinical hypotheses. Biomechanics - body composition, centre of gravity, levers, patient handling techniques. Soft tissue manipulation. Electricity - safety, electrical fields, Ohm's law, resistance/impedance, AC/DC currents, depolarisation, rectification current types (interferential/high voltage), wave energy and ultrasound principles, inverse square law, cosine law, electromagnetic radiation. |
