Introduction

This course is designed to extend theoretical knowlege and associated techniques in finance to a higher level. It is suitable for those who plan to pursue careers as finance specialists in both public and private sectors or in academia.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A degree or equivalent in commerce with a major in finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business (Economics and Finance), or a finance honours degree.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

The course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other vital study materials. In addition, students may also need to contribute some of the cost of consumables, which varies depending on the area of study.
