| Syllabus: | Students will undertake a research project that builds on previous investigation developed in Life Sciences Research Design (AGRI5007) under staff supervision. Most projects arise from technical problems or developmental ideas which originate within the industry. Students will develop research, technical, professional and communication skills, research autonomy and specialised knowledge through a process of inquiry involving selection of an appropriate methodology and experimental design; ethical consideration of the research process; critical review of scientific literature; effective scientific writing and the preparation of a dissertation. |
