Specific Course Completion Details
The Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and the Master programs are offered as flexible entry and exit points. This means that students have the opportunity to apply for an intermediate award upon completion of specific required units, if, due to exceptional circumstances, they are unable to complete the currently enrolled course. This is subject to the approval of the Head of Department. Students can also enrol for any point of entry provided the requirements are satisfied.

Learning Outcomes
A graduate of this course can:
1. articulate and apply concepts, principles and best practices related to public sector administration
2. analyse and develop strategies to improve the public sector administration
3. synthesise ideas from international and regional public service practices and critically review the public service within the local context
4. devise and communicate public policy strategies to members of the public as well as persons in decision making capacity
5. apply statistical software package to conduct research project
6. evaluate performance of self and a group of team against recent developments in public service administration
7. compare and contrast public service practices in regional and international jurisdiction
8. identify impact of ethics, social justice guidelines on the administration of public service in the local context
9. establish and sustain cooperative team relationship in group assignments and projects
