| Syllabus: | Students will engage with research to understand theories of urbanism and to stimulate thinking about urban possibilities. They will also be involved in the exploration, development and demonstration of design skills for urban projects, incorporating: the analysis of urban contexts, understanding the role that urban projects play in shaping the public domain and the practice of making speculative urban propositions. A fieldwork component is dependent on the focus of the research. |
