Detailed treatment of sampling procedures, sample decomposition, gravimetric and titrimetric methods as applied to the analysis of real samples of geochemical or metallurgical origin. Sample preparation and decomposition, separation techniques including precipitation phenomena, chromatography, solvent extraction, volatilisation, masking, determination of required species by titrimetric or instrumental methods.
