Syllabus:

Oceanography. The sea, its use and protection. Global processes - continental drift and plate tectonics. Continental shelves and ocean basins and sedimentation processes. Coastal processes. Food chains, ecological energetics and biological communities. Fishing industry and aquaculture. Organic communities and sedimentation. Surface and internal waves, tidal motions, wind and the global ocean circulation.
