Syllabus: |
Principles and techniques for estimating the resources and for converting them to reserves, including - sampling methods, fundamental sampling error and other sampling errors. Geological data modelling (block models, wireframes ). Spatial variability of volume / tonnage and grade. Mining losses, dilution, bulk density, cut-off grades and head grades. Estimation and resource model simulation. Reporting of resources and reserves, using the JORC code (Australasian Joint Ore Reserves Committee).
