	| Syllabus: | This unit aims to guide each student in the formulation of their own project / research proposal in preparation for their IA Dissertation 499.  It is intended to provide students with the following skills - the ability to apply research methodologies appropriate to the completion of major projects in interior architecture, an ability to consider issues of design and practice as a form of theoretical /scholarly research, the consolidation of skills in self-criticism and a methodology for testing personal ideas and approaches, an ability to consider the design of a total research program and its implementation and to relate this to a choice of a research project. |
