Syllabus: |
Employment and professional practice - patient rights, ethics, employment, registration, insurance, relevant Acts, associations and continuing education. Practice management - personnel, communication and quality control. Community dentistry - methods, situational analysis, target groups, strategies, evaluation and resources. Specialised topics - interpreters, oral conditions and child development, nursing caries, disabled patients and dental specialties overview. This is an industry experience unit. |
