Syllabus:

Democrats, socialists, radicals. The democratic tradition - T. Paine. Utopian socialism from Thomas More to Charles Fourier. Communist traditions - Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Gramsci. Reformist and democratic socialism. Current issues - the end of social democracy, the end of communism, feminism - liberal, socialist and separatist. Eco-liberals, eco-anarchists and eco-socialists. What is Left?
