Meetings - teamwork and self-regulation. Committees. Development of literacy skills, computer skills, interview skills and techniques. Writing a scientific paper. Turning a scientific paper into a talk, giving an effective talk, preparing overheads and using PowerPoint. Organising and presenting a conference. Writing a conference attendance report. Applying the experience to personal development and career planning. Developing a CV, applying for jobs and attending interviews. Publication of conference proceedings and careers booklet.
