Basic demographic concepts in the analysis of fertility, mortality, nuptiality and migration. The Australian population. Elementary descriptive statistical methods. Modules which will discuss particular topics with a primary emphasis on Australia, for example regional and urban planning and development, migration and multiculturalism, the Aboriginal population and women in the workforce. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
