This course combines agribusiness management and marketing education with journalism. Technical principles of agriculture, viticulture, horticulture or aquaculture is part of the agribusiness marketing degree.

Applications for recognition of prior learning are encouraged from applicants and are assessed on an individual basis. Applications for recognition of prior learning may be awarded for approved TAFE units. Students who have completed the Associate Degreein Agribusiness may apply for recognition of prior learning in the Bachelor of Agribusiness, Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) double degree.
This course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Journalism and agribusiness marketing are studied concurrently, with units from both fields being studied in every semester.
Graduates may be eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science.
Employment may be found as journalists in print, radio or other media in areas that deal in agribusiness.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
