This double degree in Communication and Cultural Studies and Commerce combines study in a major of: Australian and Intercultural Studies; Creative Writing; Cultural Studies; Gender Studies; Literary Studies; performance studies; Professional Writing and Presentation; or Publishing Practice with the Marketing or Public Relations major.
TEE English or English Literature, minimum scaled mark of 60 desirable.
STAT elements considered are E and either V or Q.
Students will normally be expected to have attained a higher Tertiary Entrance Rank than is required for both single degrees.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
This course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Students enrolled in the double degree program may elect to transfer to a single degree course in one of the two areas. In this event, the relevant Head of Department shall determine the amount of credit to be transferred to the single degree.
Graduates may join the Australian Marketing Institute and the Australian Institute of Management.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other esential study materials. Some units within this course may have a field component for which costs may be incurred.
