This course is for those with a first professional qualification in librarianship, records management or archives working in an environment where management takes an innovative approach to capturing and making available the totality of knowledge within the organisation. It also may be of use to graduates from other information-related fields of study.
An undergraduate degree or graduate diploma qualification in librarianship, records management, archives or other approved information-related field.
Regular and reliable internet access is also required.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
The fee-paying course is of one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study. External study is also available.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
Students may incur a cost for personal Internet access.
