Introduction

This major offers a sequence of units in international affairs that prepares graduates for the fast-paced world of international relations. Selected topics include: international security; trade; economic and cultural globalisation as well as human rights; food; energies; public health; the natural environment; technological change; demographic issues and ethics in international relations. It is designed for those aspiring to careers in: government and private industry; foreign policy and defence; publicservice; international finance and management; journalism; media; teaching and consulting as well as those intending to be informed about the changing and complex world in which we live.
