This double degree provides students with a broad education in anthropology, geography, history, politics or sociology, in combination with professional training that meets the requirements of the relevant educational bodies.

The Department of Education requires all students to pass a literacy and numeracy competence test in the first year of the degree. Applicants for this course should refer to the Criminal Record Screening and Clearance Section of this publication. STAT elements considered are E and either V or Q.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
The course is four years full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Students enrolled in the double degree program may elect to transfer to a single degree course in one of the two areas. In this event, the relevant Head of Department shall determine the amount of credit to be transferred to the single degree.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
